Description

DCR-HC52 MiniDV Handycam camcorder features 40X optical/2000X digital zoom, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens and Super SteadyShot image stabilization to capture clear, sharp video. 1/6 Advanced HAD CCD with 340K pixels provides up to 500 lines of horizontal resolution) and still image performance. 2.5 touch panel Swivel Screen LCD screen has 123K pixels resolution and rotates 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles. Use i.LINK Interface to quickly transfer images from the camcorder to compatible devices equipped with an IEEE1394 interface, including camcorders, digital VCRs, and PCs. Use Easy Handycam Button to lock out most of the advanced features. Camcorder features professional-looking fader effects, manual focus, multi-language menu , NightShot Plus Infrared System, picture effects, scene selection modes. Handycam DC-HC52 Review

Strengths: Clarity,easy of use, touch interface

Weakness: screen brightness

You can not beat the price and value of this camera. I highly recommend this product for an average or first time camcorder user. Make sure you buy a carrying case.

Strengths: unknown. couldn't use it much before the weakness kicked in

Weakness: tape door won't shut

this camera had barely any hours on it before the tape door stopped working correctly. i was on a trip and couldn't get it back to best buy so now i'm stuck with it. i would never encourage anyone to buy this camera.
