Awesome Picture Quality.. Poor in low light..Strengths: - Awesome video quality - Looks beautiful - Light weight and compact (Fit in my pant pocket easily) - Decent Battery Life - Works perfectly with Mac iLife 08 (Although iLife gave me a warning that Weakness: - Grainy picture under low light conditions - Doesnt do 1080 @24p (haven't had the opportunity to compare the quality of video between this model and other HD camcorder - Memory Stick is expensive.. Best looking camcorder on the market (small size, dark black casing). Takes 6.1 megapixel still photos. Weakness: Unconfirmed if memory stick capacity can exceed 4GB (or 30 minutes at 1080p resolution). Low light resolution and contrast could be better. Point-and-shoot focus cuts out some user configurability. I LOVE THIS CAMCORDER. I've been waiting for years for someone to come out with a camcorder that combined HD-resolution with memory card recording. While hard disk recording may be equally convenient for home video editing and burning to DVD or BluRay discs, the simplicity of pulling out the memory card and popping it into your PC for transferring and editing is truly an understated luxury. I have had many cameras and camcorders over the years. This unit is the top shelf. It looks great, feels great and even better it works great. I have tried some tough to focus conditions and it has performed extremely well. I plan on taking it to Lake Louise next week and Australia later this year, I don't think I will be disappointed.
