Below Average DVD CamcorderWeakness: too long to finalize the disc, grainy video quality I brought this DVD camcorder as an everyday uses to capture my newborn daily activities, and it is a bit of disappointment. First of all, you MUST plug in the power when finalize the disc, which i found absolutely inconvenient. Canon DC220
THE GOOD: Long zoom lens; decent image stabilization; fast autofocus; shutter-priority exposure mode. THE BAD: Fair-to-middling overall video quality; poor still photos. THE BOTTOM LINE: A simple DVD camcorder with decent performance and image quality, the DC220 wont blow you away, but it also will not let you down. Top

Strengths: Great Zoom...Bigger LCD and Good Looking...
Weakness: Makes lots of noise and bad performance indoors...
I brought this DVD camcorder for everyday use to capture my newborn son's activities, and it is a bit of disappointment. First of all, the recording quality is very grainy and hazy when using it at night or indoor, even when I had bright indoor lights ON. The results in daylight are much better but even a cheaper camcorder gives good results in daylight...its the indoor results that matter to me....
