Comment of the Panasonic HDC-DX1 camcorderStrengths: Directly burn into the DVD rom kept the quality of the image,better than transfer to the computer . The images still very clear although zoom the things far away. Weakness: If the camcorder can burn the DVD + Rom will be better. This camcorder have better quality than I though. It can zoom the image from far away but still very clear , if you used the HDMI connected to your HD television , you will see the quality of the images .For me to say directly burn the images into the DVD Rom is better because it won't lose any quality when making the transfer from the camcorder to the computer.The size and the weight of the...

Panasonic HDC-DX1 Camcorder ReviewStrengths: This camcorder is bigger, badder, and brimming with bulk.The port cover is sturdy and pulls out easily via a finger tab on the bottom. Weakness: Mounting a flash on the side of the lens instead of on top or underneath is a problem that you get uneven lighting. It is quite a sleek and compact camcorder with meat on its bones, and has extra stability offered by the heft if not the drop in portability.It is valuable to be pointed out that it features a shockingly good OIS system.At last it should be pointed out that it is not tough enough.

good value for moneyStrengths: HD, good lense quality, very user friendly Weakness: Does not support PAL systems as I was planning to use it in europe as well!, A bit heavy compared to some similar camcorders I have purchased this camcoreder recently and have found it very easy to use, Very good picture quality though I have to say I have not started to appreciate the HD yet! I was planning to use it in Europe but find it very difficult considering lack of PAL system. Generally highly recommended, very good value for money.

HDC-DX1 Mini DVD HD Camcorder
Strengths: The quality of the image is terrific!! The camera is also easy to operate. This is my first camcorder and I am very pleased with my selection.
Weakness: Its a little heavy but no big deal really. The only other thing is that upon recording the unit takes a bit too long before actually being able to record.
I would definitely purchase this product again because it is excellent quality relative to the cost and in comparison to other HD camcorders. It is also great to be able to view the films directly onto my HD television.
