If only the Samsung SCD107 camcorder offered more accessible and intuitive manual features, it would be a better camcorder. As it is, with an MSRP of $499.99, this 1/6-inch CCD camcorder is best for point-and-shooters who mainly take advantage of automatic modes and a few preset options. Just bought this from CC 5 days ago. The main reason to buy this is the 20X room ,3.5 inch LCD, very happy with that this mini DV acceptes SD card, you can record mpeg 4 movie in the memory card. The weak point is that the video slip in the card is only 20 seconds long. I am satisfied with the video played on TV.
