Empire VDR-M70 DVD-R/DVD-RAM Digital CamcorderStrengths: great video and audio quality Weakness: none this is the best camcorder I have ever used. The video is crisp and the audio clear. It has usb 2.0 support and the controls are well laid out. Panasonic has very good reliability with their products and this camcorder even has the option to film for widescreen viewing. Rated #1 by Consumer Reports in a recent review was also a big plus. Many features at a great price.

Strengths: Compact, lightweight and user friendly.
Weakness: Factory battery life is extremely short!
I would recommend this camcorder! It's a true value for the money after researching other DVD Camcorders. If you intend on taking still pictures in low light, I suggest you purchase the optional Video Flash. Overall, its a great camcorder that takes super quality videos and is very easy to playback!
