check out jvc canmcorder errors code problems

Strengths: good price

Weakness: no fire wire, quit working after recording one tape

Thought JVC was good company to buy from, but after one tape my camcorder shows error code E03 (eject tape and reinsert). Nothing I can do will clear out code. Checked out error code on goggle, I am only one in hundreds that are having this problem with error code E03. One web site is trying to get class action lawsuite against JVC to repair camcorders even!I have email JVC, but my camcorder is...

Great product, Great Price

Strengths: Ease of use, Light weight, Fantastic low light use, Good battery life.

Weakness: Strap could be better, wish it came with a longer lasting battery.

I read quite a number of reviews and tests with the current crop of MiniDV camcorders out there. This one stands out as a very good product with a great price. The size and weight of this unit is so small and compact I love it. It’s only slightly larger than my hand. I would stay away from any MiniDVD camcorders as they tend to use a proprietary driver/format when doing a video transfer. Also...

JVC Digital Camcorder - 2.5" LCD - CCD

Strengths: Great zoom, easy to operate and navigate thru menus, compact, great clarity, overall great camcorder

Weakness: you can't use camera while charging the battery

We were looking for a camcorder to replace our old vhs-c camcorder, which was also a JVC. We looked everywhere and read every review possible to find the best camcorder to fit our needs, which is to tape our growing family ie: birthdays, holidays, first steps, etc. One of our main concerns was taping in low light situations, which is anything indoors, not just outside at dark!! Our first use of...

JVC Digital Camcorder - 2.5" LCD - CCD

Strengths: compact size, sleek design, 700X zoom, great price, JVC brand

Weakness: looks brittle, will definitely break if dropped.

This is a graeat camera for its price. If you are looking for an affordable mini dv camcorder for your family's daily use, you are looking at the best value mini dv camcorder in the market. Other camcorders will flood you with too much features that you would not even use, but it makes the product more expensive. With JVC GRd-33us, you'll get the best features for a great price. Great buy!

JVC Digital Camcorder - 2.5" LCD - CCD

Strengths: Excellent quality on video and sound, bright color, low light recording.

Weakness: gripping is not so comfortable especially if you have a big hand, lack of USB and Mic outlet

I have searched for almost a month for a mini DV camcorder and this is the one I found best suit for us. We use for family vidoe and it is easy to connect to either TV, computer, VCR. There are some specific things that I look for: date and time, auto light, steady shot, at least 16x zoom, S video, DV/AV connector. You can not find any camcorder with the feature like this has with same price. The...

JVC Digital Camcorder - 2.5" LCD - CCD

Strengths: Good video quality - inexpensive

Weakness: hard to hold camera - the "palm" strap is terrible - buttons are harder to operate than Sony

Great for an inexpensive camcorder - at this price point, you can't have everything so I chose video quality over features and ease of operation. The camcorder body is wider than Sony or Canon by 3/4" so unless your hands are oversize, it is hard to grip the camera comfortably. The "digital camera" mode is useless and I haven't even tried it. JVC saved money by omitting a Flash card slot and I...

JVC Digital Camcorder - 2.5" LCD - CCD

Strengths: size, price for features, functionality, design

Weakness: 1) Does not come with a firewire cable - but that's a problem of most camcorders 2) Firewire cable plug is inside of LCD - must be open when downloading data 3) Hand strap is for bigger hands

Big strengths + small weaknesses = this is one of the best. I did not give it 5 stars because it still has some little thinks to improve. Excellent product for everyday life. Would certainly recommend, you cannot be disappointed.

Not so good

Strengths: low price. easy to handle. manual white balance, focus and iris. good menu.

Weakness: the motor of the camera produces a strong noise that is recorded. my camera came producing a spot in the image, probably it's a problem with the ccd.

this might be the cheapest minidv camera that i found, but the quality of the sound and the spots in the image that i had are inexcusable for a last technology camera. besides, after the camera has recorded a few tapes asked for a tape cleaner. i don't recommned this camera to anyone. very bad choice, spend some more dollars and get a good product.

For many video enthusiasts, small camcorders mean convenience. Case in point: the new JVC GR-D33 is a compact Mini DV model with a nice selection of manual controls and very impressive image and sound quality, especially when you consider its low price. Though it does have a few quirks--such as the bottom-loading tape door--it offers tremendous value to the point-and-shoot videographer.
