Good Choice - for SureStrengths: Good Day light clarity, Excellent optical Zoom Weakness: Most of the controls to be done by opening the LCD monitor. However major controls are comfortably placed I bought this camcorder about 10 days beck. Before buying this one, I looked for the plus and minus of almost all the models relative to this category and then finally settled with this owing to the following parameters: 32X zoom, Good clarity, Handy to use, Good battery power, and cheaper in this category. Strengths: Battery life,easy menus and settings, large auto and manual button
Weakness: acess to USB and DV port, No wirewire with the pack,
Good one for this price. Compared to Elura100 the features are almost the same. Better in night shots with light. The access to the menu and play/forward buttons are inside, we have to use both hands in operating the camera some times. during day light shooting the picture clarity is excellent. Powerfull zoom (32 x), I would recommend a tripod when using max zoom.
