Small and light hard driver camcorderStrengths: Very small, super light, excellent zoom, big storage space camcorder, and easy use Weakness: Like all consumer kinds of camcorders, its video and audio quality isn't so good in low light environment. Short battery life, low resolution for still picture I need a very small camcord which I use it to record over 1 hour piano class every week and then send the video to a computer. With very small size, under 1 pound, huge video storage size, good outside video's quality, easy use and fast transfer speed, GZ-MG37 30GB Hard Drive Digital Camcorder is one of best choices.

I like this camcoderStrengths: user friendly Weakness: a little heavy than I expected even I was recommend to get another one when I purchase it, I still feel this is the one I am looking for. It is looks good. I feel satify for its operation mode. however still I think it may be better if it is lighter

JVC GZ-MG37 30GBStrengths: Nice Size, Widescreen Video, Hard Drive 30gb Weakness: Video quality especially indoors(with or without the light on) is pretty bad. The last video camera that I bought about 5yrs ago was a Samsung Hi-8. The video quality on that was decent at the time and the price was a bargain compared to what I paid for my 8mm video camera in 1994. I purchased this camera in the hopes that the hard drive video camera was the way to go. I waited on buying a dvd camera beacause I was hoping that they would come out with one that recorded on...

Nedds help where it counts... video quality.Strengths: Compact size, easy to use layout. Feels good in the hand. Nice zoom. Weakness: VIDEO QUALITY NOT GOOD. WORSE IN LOW LIGHT Bought a few days ago and started shooting as soon as I could charge the battery. Very disappointed, colors didn't look right (lt green looked yellow) Nothing looked quite right unless outside in brightly lit conditions. Shooting indoors even in a well lit kitchen was poor. JVC GZ-MG37 30GB IS A GREAT PRODUCT
Strengths: Compact, lightweight, easy to use, good lcd display, 30GB is an abundance of space, great zoom capability, ability to shoot video and still photos is great
Weakness: Included battery has minimal life, will probably have to get an extended-life
This is my first camcorder and so far, I am very satisfied. I did a lot of research on other camcorders prior to this purchase and the JVC GZ-MG37 30GB had the best options I could find. This JVC had everything I was looking for in a camcorder and I can't wait to start using it on a regular basis. Escpecially when my first child is born in May!!!!
