Good Investment

Strengths: You can't beat the price for a 3 chip camera, headphone output, microphone input, jacks for dv and s video, and size

Weakness: troggle wears out your thumb after a while

Nice camera with ease to use

Strengths: Best colour reproduction even in low light

Weakness: Not so good still photography even at 2.3M pixels.

I bought GS180 for personal use especially for recording videos of my little child and I think it is wise choice for me at the price I paid for it. I highly recommend the product for beginner like me at such a price.

Great Product

Strengths: Easy to use and very functional.

I bought this camera to take pictures of my new baby. The camera is easy to use and takes good video. The one thing it did not come with was a tape or a memory card for pictures, so be prepared to shell out a few more dollars for these necessary recording mediums. Since I’ve not bought a memory card for pictures yet I can’t comment on the quality of the still shot features.

Strengths: 3CCD, 2.3MP resolution, light weight.

Weakness: no remote.

This is a loaded camcorder with a small size and light weight. 3CCD gives vivid color and better picture quality. low light performance is much better than the canon ZR500 I previously owned.
