Great camcorder for the price!

Strengths: Easy to operate!

Weakness: Low light (Very Poor) Remote control (not capable)

Ease of use, my daughter (14) had the camcorder going about 5 minutes after pulling it from the box. Once we got a full charge on the battery, a 16 gig card took 6 hours of video - more than the battery which lasted about 3 hours per charge.

The picture quality isn't as sharp as a Canon HG-10 and the 70x optical doesn't seem to be a crisp and clear as I'd expect.

The claims that night vision is bad - that one is right on the money! Don't even think about it!

For the money, I won't purchase it again but for now, it'll work.

Did you find it helpful or unhelpful?

The third of three Panasonic SDR-H camcorders, the Panasonic SDR-H26 is a more affordable downgrade from the Panasonic SDR-H80 and Panasonic SDR-H90 in that it doesn’t feature an integrated hard drive. Instead, the SDR-S26 relies on just an SD/SDHC memory card port that allows users to record video in...
